Estate planning is important for everyone. For one inclusive fee of $350 per person, we prepare the following documents :
- Will : A legal document that describes how you want your estate divided between specific beneficiaries, and if applicable, names a guardian for your infant children. It also names the person or persons who will administer your estate.
- Enduring Power of Attorney : A legal document which appoints an “Attorney” to manage your property and financial affairs in the event that you lack the capacity to do these things yourself, as determined by two medical practitioners.
- Personal Directive (Living Will) : A legal document which appoints an agent to make decisions on your behalf about your healthcare and other personal matters if you lack the capacity to do so, as determined by two medical practitioners.
We are also available to assist family members and/or Executors apply for a Grant of Probate or Grant of Administration. The cost of legal services is almost always paid for by an Estate. An Executor is also usually entitled to receive reasonable compensation from an estate for their time and effort.
